Our Courses - Explanation of difficulty Levels

How our Difficulty Levels Work

The Computer Camp for Kids believes that students should be challenged in the time they spend with us, however we must ensure that students aren't overwhelmed when entering a new course. This is why each course has a difficulty rating, designed to help parents in choosing courses with their kids. The levels are as follows:

Beginner - These courses are great for students who have never previously attended Computer Camp or have little computing experience. Instructors will take time to ease their classes into lessons and topics, to ensure everyone stays on the 'same page'. If extra help is needed, assistant instructors are available for one-on-one assistance.

Intermediate - Intermediate courses require the student to be comfortable with basic computer skills, such as navigating the Windows XP environment, creating folders and surfing the net. These courses are taught faster than the Beginner level, but extra help is still given to ensure the student is comfortable with each new subject.

Advanced - Advanced courses require students to be comfortable with basic computer skills, while being able to pick up new skills fairly quickly. These courses contain a lot of cutting-edge content, and will challenge students to be creative!
